Technology Scorecard Companies can use a fresh perspective on how their systems are meeting their business needs. The Systems Scorecard is designed to provide business with a high level evaluation of their technology and systems. Often, this process confirms the intuition of management and users, but centralizes that knowledge to one cohesive report. How will the process work? A technology specialist from Crew with many years of corporate and small business experience will come onsite to conduct interviews with key users and technical staff. This usually takes a day. The questions are high level and only meant to serve as a barometer of the systems being reviewed. What areas of technology will be examined? As this is a high level process; we will not be examining lines of code or doing a full security audit. We will look at important processes and systems that effect the day to day running of the business. Typically these areas are: • Documentation • Source Code Control • Process mapping • Workflows • Change management • Business logic • Usability • Backup • Disaster recovery • Security • Maintenance and monitoring What type of report will I receive? You will receive a report approximately 50 pages in length that summarizes the findings in all these areas. They are evaluated for risk and suitability to the task. Corrective recommendations will also be made. An executive summary page will summarize all of the findings. Our team of consultants review the findings and identify up to three items that should be dealt with as a priority. We believe that we never tell our clients anything that they did not already know. |
